Towpath Trail Downtown

The rubberized surface of the historic towpath through the center of Akron permits noontime walks by active members of Akron’s 30,000 person workforce. This award-winning section is at Exchange Street, south of Lock 2 and Canal Park. The bike-and-hike trail transports visitors through downtown to the southern tip of Cleveland.
